This listing is for a Remanufactured Ford 6R140 Valve Body, model years 2011-2017 with 7 solenoids. This Valve Body does not include the TCM(Transmission Control Module). Please see the photos and illustrations below in our Technical Information section for useful tips and identification information. On model years 2011-2016 there is no need to drop the pan and ID the valve body, but since Ford started using the later version of this valve body midway through 2017, we recommend checking your 2017 valve body before ordering. When it comes to the flow rate/solenoid strategy on these 6R140 builds, 90% of them are plug-and-play, no need to use the strategy code tag. We can provide the code as a last resort. This valve body is better than OEM, it features many upgrades to increase reliability over the standard OEM valve body. These upgrades include: Updated Pressure Regulator Valve, Updated TCC Regulator Valve, Updated TCC Boost Valve, Updated Forward Clutch Regulator Valve, Updated Forward Clutch Latch, Updated Solenoid Feed Regulator Valve, Updated Converter Limit Valve.
